I'm a backend engineer based in Bengaluru with close to nine years of experience
designing, shipping and maintaining distributed systems. Today I lead a team at
Daytona Systems (Hello Group), where I own services built on Spring Boot and Kafka,
model business processes in BPMN, and keep them running in Docker against MySQL and MongoDB.
Before Daytona I spent three years at Qapitol QA, working on the Flipkart account —
which is where I learned how much of good backend work is really about clear contracts,
honest failure modes and tests you can trust.
I like problems that are messy at the domain level rather than just the code level,
and I try to leave a team better informed than I found it. I write about what I run into
at devpocket.in.
